AN ERA COMES TO AN END

With the hiring of Steve Turner as the new Head Football Coach at Mountain View, a 28 year run of coaching has come to an end for John Nehl. Coach Nehl has been on the coaching staff as either a Head or Assistant Coach since the school’s inception in 1979.

And if ever there was a great way to go out, this was it as the Cougars finished the 2007 football season with their first-ever outright IMC title, 11 straight wins, and a trip to the 5A OSAA State Semifinals.

In addition, Coach Nehl has been named the IMC coach of the year the past two seasons!
